Oh goodness I am in love again! You rock! We started a family tradition two years ago when we moved into our new home! My family (Brother and wife and 5 children and my parents) come up for the weekend. This year we are including my aunt and uncle, and next year my cousins will be moved closer and plan to join in too! We are going to make it a little family reunion!
ReplyDeleteThe week before 4th of July the kids at night get to do their smoke bombs and snakes, it's a week long celebration! The day of the 4th we go get our big ones.....4th of July we have our usual friends and family picnic with WATERMELON!
ReplyDeleteI FOLLOW YOU!!! SOOOOOOOOOO SO cute!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a get together with family and friends have a cookout and shoot off fireworks!! BTW, love your stuff!!
ReplyDeleteOur family loves to be outdoors. There's something to be said about dressing in red, white, and blue, getting together with family and friends, and eating some delicious BBQ! Cheers to everyone having an exciting and safe 4th!!
ReplyDeleteKaren- These are so cute! We usually pack a picnic dinner and spend the day on the boat with family then watch the fireworks over the lake. The past few years we have spent it at the annual Lee get together and we ride in the big wagon over to Louis and Young to watch the fireworks. The fourth of July is always a great time! One of my favorite holidays! Hope you have a great one!
ReplyDeleteWe are usually always in Texas visiting family. They sell some BIG fireworks there!
ReplyDeleteLewis-Young Park for the fireworks and the watermelon of course.
ReplyDeleteWe usually spend time with friends eating good food and watching a great fireworks show!
ReplyDeleteWe take family photos in matching American themed shirts. It will be different this year since my husband is deployed we will have to take pictures with Daddy Dollie instead and he is always in uniform.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! Sooooo adorable!! Love them all :) Our location changes now and then when we celebrate the 4th of July, BUT it always involves getting together with out family and fireworks! 4th of July has extra meaning to us since my hubby and my brother in law are both in the military and have fought for our country!!
ReplyDeleteEvery year- my husband and I go all out on grill foods and try new things! The kids love it because they get to eat fresh corn on the cob and lil' smokies. And we go and watch the fireworks. This year, we'll be in a new house, so it'll be a tad bit different- also with a fire ban going on here in the TX Panhandle :(
ReplyDeleteMy family and I usually just hang out together at the house, fire up the pit and do fireworks. Burn ban this year so the norm is cancelled. We might just have to start a new tradition this year!! : )
