summertime is finally here!

We have traditions around here.

School's out and that means homemade ice cream!  That's right.  Every year on the last day of school we make delicious homemade ice cream.  Vanilla.  Grandma's recipe. yum yum!  Complete with the electric (whoops it broke!) now hand turned maker.

And, oh, did I mention?  We crank up and listen to a little Kenny Chesney on the way home from school.  "Summertime is finally here...."
